  Although the company was great I must say the stay was disappointing. We arrived to a warm welcome but soon discovered the heating in our room didn't work. The electric heater was replaced quickly and then we discovered the remote for the television didn't work! This was not replaced. After a cold nights sleep (I was reluctant to leave the heater on overnight) we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. This was the best part of our stay. After a days sight seeing we returned to the farmhouse. We had two young children with us and ask if it would be possible to have any dinner for them, even a sandwich. Although led to believe this was an option we quickly discovered the kitchen was closed that night. We therefore had to head back out to source our dinner in nearby Kingsbridge. Upon return we were greeted by a locked farmhouse, which one of the other guests let us in. He had already had to let himself in through the owners entrance. After another cold nights sleep the next morning, and much to our surprise, the radiators came on. Why this had not happened earlier in our stay was never explained. Sadly what could have been an excellent stay with little extra effort will now be remembered as very average. Would not recommend.

  Had my wedding reception here. Wonderful environment and catered for some of my guests with very specific dietary needs. The owner and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We have been back for a few anniversaries and occasional dinners out.

  We arrived mid afternoon & the place looked deserted. We were shown to our room but not given anything in way of a tour of the place. Also we did not feel that we were made at all welcome by the proprietress. The room we booked was advertised as a superior room & is advertised in the brochure in the room as the Master bedroom but it was in fact very small with just about enough room to walk around the 4 poster bed. No usable table & also no space & the room had a claustrophobic feel. The Info brochure in the room was falling to pieces.
  En suite bathroom however was a good size with a corner bath but the room was definitely not worth the £100 charge per night. Shower head fitting had been repaired with cable ties & a jubilee clip. This should have been replaced.
  Wooden floors throughout in both the room & bathroom which were very noisy & creaky.
  The B&B had an attractive Bar area, however this was deserted & there was no draught beer available despite there being 3 pumps on the bar. Odd considering this was high season! Also staff were non existent & had to be hunted for at 1800 in the evening! Really we felt like we were intruders. We ate the first night in the restaurant but were the only ones who did. We did not eat there again. The food was OK but no better than average. Breakfast was good but took quite a long time to arrive after being ordered. I definitely would not stay here again.
  Despite some of the pictures on booking websites there is NO swimming pool.
